The Bolt Welcome Pack with iBlot 3 System offers a complete protein separation-to-western blot solution by combining a Bolt Welcome Pack A with the iBlot 3 Western Blot Transfer Device and iBlot 3 Transfer Stacks, Midi, NC (nitrocellulose) in lieu of one box of Bolt gels.

The Bolt Welcome Pack A consists of a Mini Gel Tank plus all of the necessary Bolt gels and buffers you need to get started running gels.

About the Mini Gel Tank
The Mini Gel Tank is compatible with all Novex, NuPAGE, and Bolt Bis-Tris Plus mini gels. Each Mini Gel Tank can accommodate up to two gels per run. The unique tank design enables convenient side-by-side gel loading and enhanced viewing during use. Optimized conditions using constant voltage allow for Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels to be run in approximately 20 minutes with MES running buffer. Run times may vary depending on buffer conditions and power supplies being used.

About Bolt Bis-Tris Plus Gels
Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels are precast polyacrylamide gels designed for optimal broad range separation of proteins under denaturing conditions. Similar to NuPAGE Bis-Tris gels, Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels are designed to deliver consistent gel performance and provide a neutral pH environment that minimizes protein modifications. Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels have the unique WedgeWell design that allows for easier sample loading and up to 2X more sample volume than other standard precast gels. Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels come in four percentages and multiple well formats. Each box contains 10 gels.

About the iBlot 3 Western Blot Transfer Device
The iBlot 3 Western Blot Transfer Device is a dry transfer device that performs western blotting transfer efficiently and reliably in as few as three minutes and without the need for liquid buffers. The iBlot 3 system is compatible with both nitrocellulose and polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) membranes and offers equivalent or better performance compared with traditional wet-transfer methods in a fraction of the time. The iBlot 3 Western Blot Transfer Device is an integral part of the iBlot dry blotting system, which consists of the transfer device and consumable transfer stacks that contain the required buffers and transfer membrane (nitrocellulose or PVDF).
